Reports to: Manager, Public Relations and CommunicationsJob Summary:
Internal Communications Specialists will work across all TM&L to ensure open, interactive and effective internal communications for employees and management via electronic, video and print communications. This includes overseeing the content, standards, functionality, ongoing development, and contributors for the company's intranet and providing content for external corporate web site, coordinating division-wide employee communications strategies and plans, work under supervision for the development and implementation of the internal communications strategy and tactics. This includes working with executives, managers within the division and in some cases across the divisions, to ensure the effective delivery of communications to employees.
Through effective organizational communications strategies and tactics, this position will help support cultural and organizational change initiatives and work to build employee awareness, understanding, acceptance and commitment to the division's vision, values and business priorities.Responsibilities to Include:
Working with the Manager, Communications/Public Relations develop and execute internal communication strategic plans, including effective coordination and integration with other relevant communications initiatives at the unit and corporate levels.
Implementing all internal communications strategies, programs and tactics through appropriate information channels.
Collaborating effectively with communications professionals across the business units to apply best practices to all internal communications.
Supporting certain unit external communications initiatives as assigned.
Creating programs to consistently and effectively communicate key messages, including those to support organization's business objectives, values, mission and branding initiatives internally, and creating supporting collateral materials (writing, designing materials).
Responsible for generating ''news'' content for internal communications, including researching stories, developing editorial calendar, and coordinating production and distribution of news.
Writing and editing employee communications collateral, including memos, presentations and intranet articles
Managing the unit Intranet sites.
Continuously assess intranet content, tools and technology applications to ensure intranet meets employees' needs and corporate objectives. This includes qualitative and quantitative research to assess the site(s)value and usability.
Develop and coordinate strategic plans to enhance, improve the intranet(s) and coordinate implementation of those plans.
To Serve as a liaison to HR and senior leadership team in maintaining site features, functionality and content.
Support the development and implementation of marketing tactics.
Coordinating meetings and events for employees and supporting presentation developments for these meetings.
Responsible for archiving corporate communications materials.

REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in communications, journalism, PR or a related field.Position Requirements:
Two plus years of broad-based, in-depth knowledge and experience in internal communications, with some experience in external communications preferred.
Creative, with excellent technology, writing and verbal communication and consultancy skills.
Strong computer literacy with ability to grasp new technology concepts quickly.
Client-service orientation, and strong project-management skills; experience managing internal and external resources (i.e. writers, freelancers, graphic artists, etc, desired.
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow-through. Ability to work under and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to think strategically, be flexible and work with diverse groups in a virtual team environment.License and Certification Requirements:
