Lakeshore is proud to be the staffing partner for a large and well established organization in the Northwest suburbs that is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist.

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for:

~Receiving, screening, and monitoring in-bound calls via phone, email, and on-line "chat" inquiries.
~Use active listening and rapport-building techniques to qualify prospects and guide them towards a solution.
~Use desk and computer references that prospects would find helpful to answer any questions that they might have and to assist them in their decision making process.
~Ensure that every caller is served to satisfaction.
~Guide dialogue with prospects to elicit important information, then accurately and thoroughly record qualifying information, case-specific details, and contact data in the contact data management system. Initiate distribution of requested information.
~Facilitate effective transfers or hand-offs to other specialists or departments that can better assist the prospect.
~Coordinate the flow of information from qualification to insurance verifications to scheduling. Ensure timely and efficient follow-through.
~Actively participate in all new and ongoing decision facilitation and service improvement initiatives, seek and refine understanding of product and service knowledge, and monitor own effectiveness for the purpose of continued improvement.
~During busy queue times, take names and numbers; manage abandon rate and average speed of answer.
REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate will possess:

~High school diploma (or equivalent) required. College education and working knowledge of healthcare services/oncology are a plus.
~2-5 years of sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience.
~Experience working in a demanding quota driven environment is a plus.
~The ability to attend multiple, sometimes competing demands without distraction.
~Verbal fluency and facilitative influence over the phone and computer.
~Competency in active listening and relationship building with the ability to communicate with empathy.
~Ability to be self-directed, organized, and professional.
~Pursuit of continuous learning.
~Confidence, security, and resilience necessary to build deep personal connections with callers in distress and to balance this with personal rewards that come from making a difference in the lives of others.
