Inside Sales Rep/Call Center Supervisor (Daily Pilot)

Purpose:
We are currently hiring several positions for the growing Times Community News, a division of the Los Angeles Times and publisher of the Daily Pilot, Huntington Beach Independent and Laguna Beach Coastline Pilot, the number one source for local News, Sports and Information.

As an Inside Sales Rep/Call Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing an internal "sales desk" for print advertising sales to local businesses for the Daily Pilot. You will partner with advertisers to create advertising schedules, prepare layouts and effective budgets. The position includes account management and business development. Additionally you will be the lead/supervisor of a team of 5 inside sales reps responsible for helping develop and grow group sales.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

* Previous sales experience - print advertising sales experience is a plus! But will train the right individuals.

* Previous lead or supervisory experience - preferably in a sales environment.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent organizational skills

* Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)


This position pays a weekly base plus a lucrative commission AND bonus plan!
