Inside Sales Associate

Job Description:

The Inside Sales Associate is integral function of the GMPCS Sales Dept. Inside Sales are responsible for providing prompt, accurate and professional screening, pre-qualification and (or) responses to all inbound sales calls and inquiries. This will include processing of sales orders, cultivating new business and supporting other sales activities of the company. In addition the Inside Sales Associate is responsible for providing and developing initial customer relationships with the company.

Specific Duties:
Receive and process sales calls, inquiries and orders for both GMPCS and on occasion, Satellite Discount Store.
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered by the company and be able to conduct product and (or) sales discussions, presentations or demonstrations to customers or prospective customers.
Provide world class sales and customer support to all customers on GMPCS portfolio of products and services.
Work cross-functionally with other departments, divisions and business units to ensure seamless trouble free service, customer support and follow-up.
Must be able to attend tradeshows or other marketing events/functions. Must be at the highest level of professionalism, essentially an ambassador to GMPCS.
Use Everest to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and to make changes on customer purchase orders.
Works closely with Accounting Department and the warehouse regarding activations, approvals, deliveries of scheduled shipments, etc.
Assists with the needs of the Regional Account Managers.
Prepares price quotations immediately by phone and email.
Checks with credit department concerning credit status of customer when rush orders are received.
Be able to handle walk in sales.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
College Diploma or equivalent
One year of sales or customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
Must have strong problem solving skills and ability to resolve limited technical issues.
General computer proficiency with MS Windows, Office and other general business software applications is required.
Ability to travel that may include weekends, holidays or extended periods of up to one week.
Bi-Lingual a major plus
