REQUIREMENTS
This position is a great mix of internal systems administration and customer support. Our Infrastructure team is responsible for HostMySite's network of servers, including deploying new servers, performing maintenance on existing servers, and providing advanced troubleshooting and support for the rest of the organization. Our Infrastructure Technicians are empowered to login to servers, troubleshoot problems, and do everything necessary to provide outstanding service to our customers and employees.
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
•Linux
•Windows 2000 and/or 2003 Server
•Basic Internet protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP3, and HTTP
•Web application servers and platforms, such as IIS, Apache, ASP.net, ColdFusion, PHP, and Perl is helpful but not required
•Communicating with customers by phone, email and online Web chat
