JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Modify computer databases, and related reports and documentation as required to further prepare and ready the Customer's system for installation.

-Consult with Customers to determine and review hardware, software, or system functional specifications and obtain initial Customer sign-offs prior to system installation.
-Stage/prepare Customer equipment for installation.

-Prepare/setup equipment for End-User training.

-Conduct End-User staff and/or management training to ensure a smooth installation process and minimize post-installation support requirements.

-Verify that all Customer equipment is installed and connected in accordance with manufacturer specifications and set standards and all environmental issues have been addressed/corrected before powering up Customer systems.

-Provide "live" support coverage at Customer sites on and after the system "live" date as budgeted and required by the Customer to ensure a smooth transition to their new system and minimize post-installation support requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelors degree and a minimum of 6 months related experience and/or a commensurate combination of education and experience.

-Restaurant managers and trainers, front desk agents and other hotel & restaurant personnel are strongly urged to apply!

-The ideal candidate will possess both Hospitality industry experience and technical skills. Previous POS/PMS installation experience helpful but not necessary. Experience working at Spa, Resort and/or Golf Club helpful.

-Working knowledge of WIN 95/98/NT/2000 desired. SCO UNIX, Crystal Reports, and/or SQL experience is a plus.

-Strong communication skills are required as well as the ability to quickly learn and adapt to different client and industry settings.

-Extensive travel required (up to 95% of the time)
