IT Service Department Manager, Field Services
Overview:
We are a Wilmington based provider of practice, financial and knowledge based management systems to professional markets.
We have an immediate need for an IT Service Department Manager for our clients in the Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey areas.
The Service Manager will direct and coordinate the service department staff in the maintenance, repair, and upgrading of existing client systems, and in the proper installation and operation of new systems. Manages the activities of assigned staff for all major projects. Provides guidance for planning, directing and coordinating projects to successful completion. Assist in developing and establishing departmental standards, policies and procedures; providing follow-up to ensure that they are met. Generate additional client leads through marketing activities.

REQUIREMENTS
1.Must have at least 5 years of successful leadership experience in a technical environment.
2.Strong client focus. Sense of urgency and flexible to changing circumstances and client needs.
3.Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with other Company personnel and the clients.
4.Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent resource planning and project management skills.
5.Supportive leadership ability: mentor and coach, removes barriers, challenges staff and foster team management.
6.Strong decision-making and negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
7.Strong communication skills and organization skills.
8.Experience with the following operating systems: Windows XP, 98, NT, and 2000, Windows 2000 and 2003 Server, WAN, LAN, DOS, LINUX, UNIX
9.Strong knowledge of PC Hardware and Software, Local Area Networks, Windows Operating Systems, Windows Office Products, Portable Data and Telecommunication Systems and software.
