Human Resources Coordinator

Ryder’s Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) business segment combines several capabilities into a comprehensive package that provides one-stop outsourcing of the acquisition, maintenance, management and disposal of vehicles. Ryder’s commercial rental service offers customers a method to expand their fleets in order to address specific or short-term capacity needs.

Ryder is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will be responsible for the following:
- Support 320-employee business unit with hew-hire activities, proper EEOC documentation, employee orientations and drug/alcohol testing.
- Manage SAP HR/Payroll system with timely input of Employee Profile changes/updates
- Support 12-person office staff with reception, office equipment and office supply duties
- Administrative support to Director of Operations
- Employee advocate for benefits administration

Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications:
Ideal candidate would, at a minimum, have 2-year college degree and/or 3 years administrative experience + 1 year experience in, or supporting, Human Resource functions. Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills and be proficient in basic PC skills including MS Office software programs (Word, Excel, Power Point). Ideal candidate would have AS400 and/or SAP computer experience as well. Must be dependable, display initiative and work well without direct supervision. Must be able to balance multiple priorities, taking direction from both the Region HR manager and the local Director of Operations.
