Hoteling Services Representative

We are currently seeking a Hoteling Services Representative to join us in our New York office.
Responsibilities:

Track reservations within Hoteling software

Set up work and meeting spaces for hotelers/guests

Assist with telephone and technical set up, maintain hotel supplies and print and install name plates

Track "No-shows" or “Office Checks” and submit to Senior Floor Representative twice daily

Clean, clear and replenish hotel offices and conference/meeting rooms at the end of the reservation

Set up and break down A/V equipment, easels, flip charts, etc.

Monitor meeting end times in conference/meeting rooms

Assist with clerical tasks such as faxing, copying and duplicating

Assist co-workers on other floors as needed

Accept files being returned to records center

Provide high customer service and interact effectively with various staff levels including executives

Provide backup coverage for Reception/Operators

Turn on copy equipment and verify in working order

Maintain copiers and fax machines, troubleshoot minor printer repairs

Maintain copier and fax log book
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
High School degree or equivalent

Possess basic understanding of copy and fax maintenance and knowledge of A/V equipment

Able to lift up to 20 lbs., as needed

Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated prior experience

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team

Ability to learn how to read basic floor plans

Willing to work overtime as needed and agree to flexible work schedule

Show initiative and be a self-starter

Basic computer knowledge consisting of e-mail and ability to access, print and maneuver Microsoft Excel spread sheets

Ability to read, write and comprehend English and have good telephone skills
