Helpdesk Technician (142190-656)

Responsible for the installation & troubleshooting of computer equipment at all locations of SBH. This includes the development of the LAN/WAN. Also responsible for all PC software as well as all data communication equipment at all sites. Responsible for keeping your supervisor notified of upgrades and modifications made to the systems at SBH at all times. Maintain changes made to the computer systems at SBH. Comply with user training regarding PC hardware and PC software. Update/delete old files in print queue, deleting old work files from W directory. Maintenance of software agreements, daily system backup. Licensure compliance for any software installed on PC’s. Initiate routine virus inspections & maintenance. Update inventory of all software that is distributed, project DB & SALS daily. Order, track and research new equipment. Responsible for tracking and returning damaged or defective equipment under warranty. Create and modify users, network and cmhc logins and email accounts. Update and maintain computer equipment inventory
REQUIREMENTS

Associate degree in information systems or equivalent and 2 years experience in the maintenance and/or development of Information Systems.
Requires Must be capable of managing system changes in a rapidly changing business environment.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Capable of managing multiple projects and keeping supervisor notified of the status of all projects.
Knowledge of WIN9x, Win2k (Pro and Server), WinXP, LKAN/WAN protocols, MS Exchange, and MS Office Suite desirable.
Familiarity with UNIX is a plus.
A+ certification desirable.
2 years experience in the maintenance of computer hardware and software.
