Helpdesk Analyst Level II/Blackberry

Purpose: A major international government health organization located in Atlanta has an immediate need for a Helpdesk Analyst Level II that has extensive experience with Blackberry and Outlook support.

Job Description:

Mail/Blackberry Install Technician

Mail/Blackberry- Install/Upgrade Technician

Provide Mail Migration and upgrade/Migrate Blackberry service to all customers. Troubleshoot and resolve less complex HW/SW problems.

This person will work closely with the all users to upgrade/migrate all customers to a consolidated mail services environment. The goal is to complete the work between September 2006 and March of 2007. Depending upon the upgrade rate we are able to achieve.


These technicians will be expected to follow a written procedure to migrate the target customer to the consolidated mail system or migrate their Blackberry handheld. They will receive their assignments through a designated coordinator/scheduler who will be specifically devoted to this project. The technicians will work in teams of approximately 5 or 6. A point of contact from the existing teams will be established for basic questions/issues.

Assist as needed with Level II support

Provide one-on-one training to customers

Provide consultation to customers

Provide one-on-one training for blackberries

Provide Customer Support for blackberries

Troubleshoot and remediate standard software problems with Outlook or Archives

Able to provide timely project status reports and escalate issues to manager

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP administration and installation in a corporate network environment

Familiar with various types of system applications, tools and hardware

Strong interpersonal and flexibility skills

Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening)

Ability to interact with customers to resolve minor Windows setup issues in a customer service scenario
