We are looking for a Help Desk Coordinator to join our Information Technology Team in Rosemont, Illinois. In this position you will be a member of a dynamic team with primarily responsible for answering calls from Banco Popular’s internal user community to the Technology Assistance Center. Your first level support will consist of troubleshooting and resolution of all technology related issues and/or escalation to appropriate technology personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnosing computer problems with end-users over the phone.
Perform basic troubleshooting tasks with end-users over the phone.
Data enter help desk calls into a help desk software application.
Implement escalation process if problems persist to a Technician.
Diagnose Server based service problems. Monitor Event Logs.
Administer Corporate E-Mail System.
Assist Level I Technicians.
Support projects initiated by Level II and III Technicians.
Provide off-hours support on a rotating basis.
Establish Meet Me Reservations.
Reset User Passwords.
REQUIREMENTS
TO JOIN OUR TEAM, YOU’LL NEED:

Knowledge of PCs, software applications and networking
Knowledge of Microsoft programs
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to define problems and propose solutions
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally

EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Associate Degree or 2 years college
2 or less related experience.
Banking Application experience a plus.
