Help Desk Analyst I

L-3 Titan has an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk Analyst I. This position is contingent upon the award of contract. Tentative/Expected start date is 1 October 2006.The applicant will be part of a team of the Help Desk Team supporting 6th Medical Group at MacDill AFB, Fl. The candidate will troubleshoot IT issues providing world class high first time solutions to IT incidents. Implements policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Ensures maximum issue resolutions in minimum time. Evaluates new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user. The applicant will have direct contact with health customers in execution of duties and must possess well-developed people skills.Additionally, the applicant will be provided a government orientation of the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), be knowledgeable of all MTF policies and procedures, and as a precondition to employment, receive any Health Care Worker (HCW) training as a required by the MTF on a regular basis. Applicant will also be required to undergo a pre-employment physical examination and annually thereafter. The successful applicant must meet OSHA requirements for Hepatitis B.Background and Experience: (including education, skills, work activities)(a) Minimum required:
Requires an associate's degree with 3-5 years of experience in the field.
Working knowledge of Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) application, TrackIt HelpDesk Application,(b) Desired:
Industry Certifications: WINDOWS 2003, Exchange 2003, HDI Analyst Certification
Experience in providing IT support in a military MTF
Experience with hospital and AF policy and procedures
Training in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA), Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO), Air Force Computer Security Policy and Air Force Safety Policy
