Purpose: Help Desk Job Description: Job Description: Responsible for day to day logging, tracking and resolving of customer reported problems or concerns. Specific responsibilities include: Acting as the customer advocate for problem resolution Advanced user and intermediate trouble-shooting skills. Able to handle, diagnose and resolve end user calls in a single point of contact help desk environment, and provide assistance to other members of the team. Provide backup and support to other members of the team and monitor and track open calls within a call tracking system.

Technical skills essential for this assignment: Background in inbound level 1-1.5 help desk. Must have strong comfort level supporting NT/98/2000/XP, MS Office Suite, understanding printer problems, resetting passwords and basic networking skills. MUST HAVE STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!

Pluses:
Other skills essential for this assignment: Candidate must have very good technical and communication skills (both written and verbal). Candidate should have strong problem solving capabilities and analytical skills, be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Candidate should have one to three years experience in call center or single point of contact operations, or equivalent.

This position is 6 months contract to permanent with a company with great growth potential.
