Health Insurance Customer Service Supervisor w/ ACD
THE COMPANY
This insurance company is a third-party administrator specializing in the administration of student health insurance plans. Located in The San Fernando Valley, CA, they are a small company that is growing and prides itself on its ability to offer personalized service to its customers while implementing technological efficiencies to improve the overall service experience.
THE POSITION
They are seeking a customer service supervisor to supervise a small customer service unit and handle various projects. It is imperative that the selected candidate possess excellent customer service and leadership skills, excellent writing skills, the ability to instill quality care service into team members, and is flexible and open to handling a wide variety of assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will perform traditional call center supervision responsibilities, such as monitor call activity, ensure resources are available to handle calls, schedule staffing, train new representatives, prepare and provide customer service training to all staff members, and take supervisor level calls. The supervisor will also handle calls during busy times and fill-in when reps are out or on break. The selected candidate will work closely with other team leaders and management to ensure that our customers are treated with the utmost level of professionalism and quality service. Additionally, the supervisor will be assigned miscellaneous projects such as creating customer service training and operations manuals.

REQUIREMENTS
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
•Minimum 2 years customer service supervisory experience in a health insurance environment utilizing an ACD system.
•Excellent customer service skills are a must.
•Must be a quick learner.
•Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, writing, and problem solving skills required.
•Must be a self-starter and team player who can motivate the staff to produce high quality service.
•Claims examining experience a plus.
