Hardware Technician

Growing Kentwood area company seeks a motivated, trustworthy technician to support, repair, maintain and troubleshoot printers, bar coding systems and related hardware. This is a new, entry-level position as a result of company growth.

Duties of this position also include customer service as it relates to specific equipment repair projects.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position, qualified candidates will:

•Be mechanically inclined, with detailed understanding of electronics;
•Have ability/experience doing repair, maintenance and troubleshooting on printers and bar coding systems;
•Have knowledge of PC's, Windows, hardware/software and networking capabilities of higher-end equipment;
•Be outgoing, personable and have excellent customer service and communication skills;
•Be organized, independent and able to catch on quickly to new tasks and technology;
•Have desire to grow within the position and the company;
•Be trustworthy with solid work references.
