HR Assistant

BASIC FUNCTION
Under the direction of the HR Generalist - Kohler Rental Power, this
position will progress through different levels of responsibilities as
outlined below. Scope will range from foundational HR support duties to
work consisting of more complex and independent work assignments.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for assisting HR Generalist - Kohler Rental Power with the
identification, interviewing, and selection of administrative
candidates. This also includes arranging interview schedules, conducting
phone interviews, reference checking candidate backgrounds, preparing
candidates and making travel arrangements. Ensures effective use of
management time while providing a positive experience for all
applicants.Manage Applicant Management System. This includes posting positions,
updating profiles, and searching for candidates.Coordinate scheduling of psychological assessments through Kohler
Konnect. Assist with administration of in-house assessment tools.Assure smooth integration of new hires into the division. This includes
coordinating orientation and making travel arrangements.Provide specific HR assistance and support for the ACT process (position
descriptions and organizational charts), SAP data entry requirements
(templates), tracking of quintiles, Maximizing Performance
participation, Merit Pool process and succession planning.Complete time reporting for Rental Application Specialists and Shop
Assistants on a weekly basis.Assist with the selection of students to participate in the Intern/Co-op
program. Post positions on college sites.Assist HR Generalist - Kohler Rental Power with special projects.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree, or pursuing a Bachelors degree, preferably in Human
Resource Management.Excellent organizational skills, ability to perform a large variety of
work, self-directed and assertive.Strong PC skills required in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Strong detail orientation is required.Good verbal and written communications skills.Willing and able to be firm and persistent when necessary.
