HELP DESK COORDINATOR

We are looking for a Help Desk Coordinator to join our Management Information System Technology Team in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. In this position you will be a member of a dynamic team with primarily responsible for answering calls from TDK Corporation of America internal user community to the Help Desk Center. Your first level support will consist of troubleshooting and resolution of all technology related issues and/or escalation to appropriate technology personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnosing computer problems with end-users over the phone.
Perform basic troubleshooting tasks with end-users over the phone.
Coordinate help desk calls by priority and subject matter.
Data entry of pricing into computer system for Outside sales staff
Implement escalation process if problems persist to the proper Technician.
Order supplies and act as liaison to vendors for IT Department
Reset User Passwords.
Administrative tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of PCs, software applications and networking
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft programs
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to define problems and propose solutions
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally
