It is the Greeter's goal to welcome visitors entering the IKEA store. The individual we are seeking is outgoing, friendly and informative. They use their public contact skills to introduce visitors to a positive shopping experience. The Greeter is informative on the IKEA shopping concept and is able to direct customers to their desired destination within the IKEA store. They will also share their knowledge in educating the customer on how to show IKEA to better understand our Self Choice, Self Serve Concept and to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a proactive and courteous customer approach.
Excellent communication skills (in both English and Spanish) with the willingness to share your knowledge and learning are key components in this position.
Candidates have skills to solve problems and assist in other work areas.
They share interest in home furnishings and have a working knowledge of the IKEA concept.
Candidates are computer literate and possess the ability to learn. They also are also able to lift 50 lbs (25 kg). Additional Information Candidates must be Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) and able to work weekend hours.
Part Time less than 20 hours.
