That's because you'll be part of a "work family" of talented people who share your goals, values and ambitions.Play a major role in our growth by joining our team:General Merchandising Salesfloor Teammates maintain Hard/Home Departments stock, display and recovery standards, and planograms. Fold and re-package merchandise, re-ticket items, and process returns from customer service desk. Assist with ad sets. Effectively use suggestive selling techniques to impact store average sales statistics.General Merchandising Department Specialists provide direct assistance to the GM Manager or Assistant GM Manager in the effective operations of the assigned area within Hard/Home.Overnight Freight and Stocking Teammates handle all hard/home merchandise being delivered to the store. Unload semi-trailer trucks, stock merchandise on the sales floor, return and accurately place excess stock in the back room.Overnight teammates receive an additional $2 per hour premium pay.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to move around sales floor for extended periods.Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.Must be able to climb 5 foot ladder.Requires repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds when unloading semi-trailer trucks and re-stocking back room.Must demonstrate physical agility (bending, twisting, reaching) for handling merchandise.May volunteer to operate fork lift if 18 years or older and successfully completed training.Must be available to work days, nights, and weekends to meet the needs of the business.Join our family and experience the excitement of Retail the ShopKo way.
