General Manager, Northern New Jersey/NYC

Initial Tropical Plants - Nations leading interior landscaping company is recruiting for a General Manager for its Northern New Jesey and New York City operations. We are the company that beautifies the interiors of commercial businesses and buildings.We have operations throughout North America in 40 cities, employ 1300 coworkers and generate $130 million in annual revenue. Our New Jersey/New York business is run from our Pinebrook New Jersey headquarter location. We employ 45 employees and generate close to $4 million dollars of annual revenue. We have hundreds of large and small clients ranging from shopping malls to retail spaces to small law firms or doctor offices. Our focus is SERVICE to our clients by providing regular plant care services to the plants and flowers that we install on our client sites. We are seeking a hands-on leader who is strong in Customr Service, People Management and Field Service Management. This is a front line leadership position. You will oversee all departments except new sales. You will manage a field service organization of 45 staff.
