Full-Time Field Service Technician II - Tucson, TX

Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing desktop products including PCs, workstations, printers, terminals and associated devices. May also upgrade existing systems and conduct routine maintenance activities. Ensures compliance with company technical and quality standards/procedures as well as the highest degree of customer satisfaction. This is an entry level position that works under close direction of a manager or lead FSR. Work is of a relatively basic complexity level.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

•Conducts fault diagnostics and basic troubleshooting on desktop products.

•Repairs software configuration problems and detects and eliminates PC viruses.

•Escalates calls within established parameters.

•Installs tests and configures desktop products including networked environments.

•Installs tests and operates basic operating system software (DOS, Windows) and standard applications.

•Performs backups and restores on PC’s.

•Performs upgrades and conversions including replacement of components.

•Ensures strict control of assets and inventory through prompt turnaround of spares.

•Prepares and processes paperwork and systems.

•Identifies and pursues opportunities to extend existing services to clients and communicates sales leads.

•You must have computer repair experience along with server knowledge, and a clear understanding of Satellite repair and maintenance. Dell and IBM repair and installation experience a must!

Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Physical Requirement: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must have own vehicle with valid drivers license and insurance.

Must be able to pass criminal background check and 3 year driving record check.
