Food & Beverage Stock Clerk

The Food & Beverage Stock Clerk assists the Steward in receiving and stocking of products.
REQUIREMENTS


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

·Computer literate.

·Food handlers license.

·Class III gaming license.

·Training in sanitation laws and procedures.

·Experience with food items and warehousing techniques.

Preferred:

·Six months’ restaurant experience preferred.

·Professional appearance and grooming.

·Provides quality customer service.

·Flexibility in scheduling.

·Willingness to perform a variety of tasks.

·Ability to work within time constraints, stay on task and follow directions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.

·Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen.

·Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.

·Required to be able to reach with hands and arms.

DUTIES:

· Receive all deliveries and inspect them for proper conformance to specifications.

· Work with Steward and other department managers to adjust storeroom par levels.

· Maintain all storage areas and walk-in in an organized and secure manner.

· Rotate food, beverage, and related items.

· Prepare daily receiving report including all invoices.

· Match invoices against delivered goods, checking for correctness, quality and quantity, as well as weights as necessary.

· Receive requisitions from requesting departments, including food, beverage and non-food.

· Work with Steward and other department managers in filling and delivering food and beverage requisitions.

· Prepare daily and weekly food and beverage consumption reports.

· Assist with the monthly inventory process and input of all inventory data into the computer.

· Sweep, mop, and maintain general upkeep of the shipping and receiving areas and stock rooms.

· Report all unsafe conditions immediately to the Steward.
