EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL LINES CSR

Mid-sized independent insurance agency in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines insurance professional to join 4-person team.

Responsibilities:

Pre-underwrite and Market New Commercial Business.
Review submission information from producers and assist in data gathering process.
Prepare ACORD application, enter all information into WINTAM, and submit to various carriers for underwriting consideration.
Prepare on-line quotes using insurance companies websites; work closely with company underwriters to assess and properly quote a new business risk.
Compare company policies, negotiate coverages and pricing, make strategic decisions.
Prepare new business proposals and work with producers to sell accounts/grow dept.

Service day-to-day needs of commercial clients.
Handle all incoming phone calls and requests.
Process endorsements, certificates and claims.
Troubleshoot billing issues and any other client needs.

Perform various Administrative Functions as pertains to clients as assigned.
Track and record monthly new business by dept, by producer, by volume and commission.
Access insurer websites for claims, production, L/R, commissions, and mgmt. reports.
Process all company endorsements, mail to clients, and keep system updated.
Separate and process incoming mail.
Enter all claims assignments, closures, payments, etc. into WINTAM.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Extensive experience and knowledge in commercial insurance.
Experience working with major commercial carriers, including non-standard.
Knowledge of CL policy coverages, enhancements, and endorsements.
Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, good written and oral communication skills, and time management skills.
Interest in working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented office environment.
This position can be a fast track to CL Manager for the right person!
