We currently have an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant within the Human Resources Department at our Corporate office located in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Vice President, Employee Relations and will be responsible for executive level administrative support for the Employee Relations Department while also providing basic administrative support to the Vice President Compensation, Benefits and HRIS. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing a number of activities, often with minimal supervision. This will require that the Executive Assistant provide exceptional customer service, handle/process confidential information on a routine basis and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. As a member of the broader HR team, the Executive Assistant will also be expected to effectively interact with and occasionally provide support across departmental boundaries.
The Executive Assistant's areas of accountability will include but are not limited to: managing calendars, coding invoices and tracking departmental expenses, file maintenance, administrative preparation of legal documents, initial point of contact/conduit with Field, Employee Relations project work and basic administrative duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
For successful performance in this position, the incumbent must possess a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years administrative experience supporting executive level managers. Experience in a large corporate environment is highly desired. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Exceptional PC skills (Microsoft Office), superior written and verbal communication and organization skills are required. Incumbent must be detailed oriented, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. This incumbent must possess strong accountability, integrity, respect, teamwork and passion.
