Event Manager

CSMG, International is a premiere sports management company, providing world-class marketing services to leading sports figures.

The Event Manager will partner with all divisions and take responsibility for fulfilling the personal and professional requests from clients and corporate employees, meeting needs in the areas of travel/destination management, dining/entertainment arrangements, gift buying, and meeting/party/special event planning while maintaining cost controls.

The Event Manager will be located in Chicago, but may be required to travel. This is not a 9-5 opportunity. Late nights and weekends will be necessary.

Candidates for this position must have previous meeting planning or corporate concierge experience, including travel budget management, with a proven record of accomplishment.

REQUIREMENTS
Project management, including budgeting responsibilities with demonstrated success at cost containment

Strong customer service skills in high-end service industry

Experience with long-term relationship building

Proven attention to detail

Aptitude for sales/marketing

Professional approach and presentation

Bilingual, Spanish/English preferred
