Our Investment Bank is one of the world’s top global investment banking and securities firms, providing a full spectrum of products to institutional and corporate clients, intermediaries, government and hedge funds worldwide.EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALISTReporting to US Head of Employee RelationsAssist in the development, recommendation and implementation of new strategies in response to changing internal and external competitive conditions as well as the legal/ regulatory environment.Responsible for the communication of these initiatives and changes throughout all levels of the organization.Assist in ensuring affirmative action compliance.Consults to, guides and educates HR staff and management on legal/regulatory, business and industry changes.Supports HR CRM teams in ER consultation and conducts and manages internal investigations.Participates in special projects/ initiatives, some of which are global in scope, including work on shared services and cross regional policies or procedures.-HR Staff are responsible for being knowledgeable about current UBS IB's Affirmative Action obligations and to partner with others to ensure that all obligations are metPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related discipline. Min. 5+ years comprehensive background in HR or Employment law. Strong working knowledge of Federal and State Employment laws. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills necessary, especially those related to listening, client engagement and conflict resolution. Must also possess superior problem solving abilities, solid judgment, and influencing skills. Individual must possess high level of initiative and attention to detail.
