Employee Relations Manager

Maintaining the local aspect of our business continues to be an integral part of our success.
DESCRIPTION:The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for human resource functions including talent acquisition, talent development, and employee relations as well as all generalist support needs of employees in assigned facility(ies) within the Business Unit.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute Corporate/Business Unit Human Resources initiatives within the territory as required.

Provide general human resources support to multiple facilities.

Resolve employee issues with local management intervention.

Conduct and manage employee investigations.

Ensure all new employees receive proper and timely orientation, including benefits.

Lead outreach activities in local communities to source diverse candidate pools.

Implement and communicate the business unit diversity and Affirmative Action Plan initiatives.

Work with Talent Acquisition team to coordinate replenishment hiring and seasonal hiring for facility(ies).

Work with Talent Development team to meet training and development needs.

Access local market wages to ensure competitiveness.

Additional assignments as directed. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.

Minimum five (5) years of Human Resources generalist experience required.

Three(3) to five (5) years supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Previous consumer products industry preferred.

Prior work within manufacturing/distribution organization a plus.

Must have strong knowledge of federal and state employment law.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required.

Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management required.

Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Good organizational and time management skills required.

Demonstrated excellence in conflict resolution skills.

PHR certification preferred.

Must have the ability to travel as required.
