ERC REPRESENTATIVE - POS

The successful candidate will provide Point of Sale technology support internally to the Employee Response Center and externally to Dollar General's stores and technology vendors. This position will also manage daily processes necessary to maximize the availability of technical systems used to support Dollar General store functions. REQUIREMENTS


To be successful you will need: The ability to understand the processes required to troubleshoot POS register systems while maintaining an unshakable positive attitude and desire to help others A very strong technical aptitude and excellent phone skills A thorough computer knowledge in Excel, Word and call tracking software. The ability to effectively communicate with various personalities in a high paced stressful environment. Strong problem solving and analytical skills Fluency in both English and Spanish a plus! Knowledge of HTML, VB, VBA, DOS, B-Tree, Batch Files and ASP. The desire to learn and grow in areas of greater responsibility.

Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your experience, with bonus potential.



Work Experience and/or Education

1 to 2 years retail/customer service experience.

1 to 2 years experience in POS hardware/software support.

IT coursework required. College or technical degree in CIS or CS preferred.

IT Professional Certifications (A+, Network+, MCP, etc.) desirable.
