ED Services Training & Organizational Development Specialist

We invite you to apply to the following position in one of our many Centers of Excellence:The Training and Organization Development Specialist assesses, plans, develops and implements training and performance improvement interventions for SJMC employees, focusing primarily on front line and mid-level supervisor positions. Major areas of responsibility include: coordinating the hospital on-boarding process for all employees, sourcing and providing staff-level education and interventions to improve individual and organizational performance, team facilitation, project management, process improvement, creating, implementing and evaluating blended learning and e-learning programs, and evaluating the outcomes of training/ performance interventions. A strong emphasis is placed on the role of “performance consultant” versus “training provider.”The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Adult Learning. Achieve Global Certification desired but not required. A minimum of four years of progressive experience in an OD role preferred. Experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired. Experience in simulation creation; ability to organize and manage multiple projects & follow through to ensure completion. Strong presentation/platform and persuasive skills to a variety of audiences. Proficiency in windows-based office technology (Word, Powerpoint,Excel); strong project management and team facilitation skills.Thank you for considering our job opportunities!
