We are currently looking to fill a variety of positions for our Oakland Customer Service Center.Assistant Delivery Manager

As the Assistant Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team to deliver our furniture directly to our customer’s homes in a timely fashion while maintaining our high level of standards and commitment to our customers.

In this highly visible position, your primary responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to, the supervising of the office delivery and warehouse staff, routing daily driver assignments, payroll, maintaining our fleet of trucks through our maintenance contract, DOT records and compliance, training, Supervisor/Associate coaching/corrective initiatives, and direct contact with our other Service Centers, Distribution Centers, Showrooms and most importantly, our Customers.

This multi talented individual must be able to set realistic goals for both him/herself and his/her team, and motivate them to achieve the goals. This person must have a can do attitude that is contagious to others and inspire those others to perform at an extremely high level while taking care of the people who take care of us "our customers". Excellent customer service skills are a must!

Operations Supervisor

As an Operation Supervisor, you will be responsible for setting the standards in the quality of the merchandise our customers will receive. Must have proven leadership skills and be able to motivate associates to our goal of total customer satisfaction.

Other duties include:
*Maintain a safe and clean work environment
*Maintain Inventory control procedures
*Able to manage bin and shop inventory
*Must have strong attention for detail and strong customer contact skills
*Assisting in the supervision of Facility Techs, Merchandise Delivery Inspectors and Shop Technicians
*Must have first line supervisory skills

Warehouse Associates

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to pack, pick and ship our product. Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy items. Lift truck use and training will be given when and where applicable. If you are interested in a rewarding career, then we are looking to set up and interview with you!

Delivery Drivers and Assistants:

As a Raymour and Flanigan Drive Team associate you will be responsible for delivering furniture to customer’s homes and you will have direct customer contact. Our Drive Teams must obtain a professional appearance and excellent grooming at all times. You will also have and maintain a clean DMV record and we will send you for a DOT physical.

To be eligible:
You must pass our Drug Screening and Background Screening
·Being bilingual is a plus
·Work safely in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment
·Have the ability to consistently lift/move heavy (30 – 100 lbs.) and bulky furniture
·Be comfortable with direct interaction with our customers
·Work Tue. - Sat., and occasional Mondays
·Come to us with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
·Make good decisions with minimal supervision, while on the road
·Quickly become familiar with the delivery area and be able to read Maps
·Meet/exceed demanding standards as we work to go beyond our customer’s expectations.

Delivery Supervisor

As the Delivery Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading your team to deliver our furniture directly to our customer’s homes in a timely fashion while maintaining our high level of standards and commitment to our customers

Job Duties:
·Will interact with customers by providing excellent customer service.
·Will use a computer for reporting purposes.
·Will have the ability to organize multiple tasks.
·Will possess a strong attention to detail.
·Will perform quality control.
·Will assist in setting truck volume allotments and routing.
·Will evaluate product damage and recommend improvements.
·Will supervise drive teams.
·Will conduct performance reviews.
·Will recommend process for improvements.
·Will maintain a professional appearance and grooming.
·Will assist in handling of any In Home Damage claims

Customer Service Coordinators

We are looking for a customer service professional with uncompromising customer service and the flexibility to work a retail schedule that would include day, night and weekend shifts. In this position you will provide administrative support to our service technicians while interacting on a daily basis with our vendor representatives. If you have the attitude and the desire to be successful, then this is the career for you!

Furniture Repair Technician-External

A successful EQI will have direct customer contact since the individual will be traveling daily to customer homes to make service calls. The candidate must have the ability to fix furniture by having experience in repairing all types of Wood, Upholstery and/or Leather. You must be able to work independently and provide leadership skills to accomplish daily goals. You must maintain a clean DMV record and have a professional appearance and grooming at all times as well as keeping the company Van neat and clean at all times.

Qualified candidates must posses a high school degree or equivalent. You must have truck driving certification and excellent customer service skills.

Furniture Repair Technician-Internal

Internal Furniture Repair Technicians would be required to repair upholstery, wood, and/or leather in our Oakland Customer Service Center. Technicians need to possess knowledge and skills in color blending, burn-ins, and complete upholstery repair including mechanism replacements. Experienced Leather Repair Technicians are also needed!
