Dispatching Specialist I

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking a DISPATCHING SPECIALIST in our Salt Lake City office.

Dispatches orders and relays messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments.

Prepares daily work order and distributes to service crew on a daily basis. Submits for approval in advance of activity date.

Schedules dispatch service calls and dispatches local and/or national service crews.

Answers and routes incoming customer calls to the right locations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Calls customers to inform them of delays when technicians are running late are will not be able to perform the install.

Calls or writes customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service.

Keeps record of service calls and work orders, and updates records to maintain accurate information.

Updates the dispatching grid based on the CSG E Connect report by exporting information to excel spreadsheet. Categorizes information, finds errors that need to be corrected, and submits to higher level dispatch employees for approval.

Informs upper level dispatch employees of arising daily problems.

Provide accurate information regarding services available, and fees associated with those services, as appropriate.

Minimum qualifications to be considered are:


High school diploma or equivalent

Must be willing to work flexible hours

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Requires intermediate computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications; general office knowledge involving filing, data entry, operating multiline phone system and customer service. Self directed. Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
