DESCRIPTION:Manage the Business Planning (annually and quarterly) process from a strategic stand point with both the customer and our BUs. Aligning the BUs with the overall plan from a national stand point, monitoring the progress against the objectives and course correcting as necessary.To develop and lead our team / Coca-Cola system on the analytical component of shopper segmentation. How are the segments determined, what strategies do we execute against each and what are the analytics that we put in place to measure success
Develop world class category management skills on our team for all categories – CSD, Minute Maid, Energy, etc..
Work directly with our national RGM team to align our package strategies
Align CCNA marketing and brand teams with the Wal-Mart shopper segmentation
Lead our current and future CCRM initiatives
Support Category Planning initiatives with our global team in order to deliver world class Category Planning
Collaborate with BU RGM and sales Leadership team to support the overall direction (planning and execution) that will deliver short-term business plan achievement and long-term accelerated performanceRESPONSIBILITIES:
To evaluate and improve our current annual and quarterly planning process – this will involve both CCE and our top Bottlers

To develop a strategy for the alignment of our plan with the customer and the actual results being delivered by the BUs and other Bottlers, what are the results, why is it occurring and how do we course correct

To develop a strategy for shopper segmentation, i.e. do we implement nationally, by BU, etc.

How can we improve our immediate consumption growth trends, right brands in the right coolers, at the right time by utilizing shopper insights

Support the BU Sales team in planning, sales operations and other revenue growth management activities in order to deliver both short-term and long-term business performance with Wal-Mart

Build world class category management skills for our team in all categories – what tools do we need, do we have the right resources, etc.

Manage the quarterly planning process with Wal-Mart and Sam’s by aligning our internal goals with the customers scorecard

Lead the dialogue with the customer on the execution of FLMs, modulars ( plan o grams ) and comacs ( display ) by shopper segmentation

Recommend human resource application to appropriate initiatives and customer opportunities.

Make recommendations regarding budgets needed for specific initiatives.

Determine appropriate applications (Processes, Training, tools, advanced insights, customer work) to improve system and team capability and capacity in the area of category management, shopper insights and day to day analytics

Work with Business Unit senior leadership to allocate resources toward areas/initiatives that need insight work and local execution i.e. modular planning

Work with the corp RGM, CCNA marketing and CCNA brand teams on the “look of success” within each store by shopper segmentation

Lead and develop a strong Category Planning and shopper insights team that allows members to build quantitative, analytical, and leadership skills and establish key relationships that can be leveraged to strengthen their capabilities and provide career advancement opportunities in the organization both domestically and globally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years Category Management, Finance, or Revenue Growth Management, or equivalent experience required.

3-5 years within Coca-Cola system strongly preferred.
