We are currently seeking a Direct Sales Representative to join our team.


Principal Responsibilities:
?Make door-to-door cable sales presentations to potential and existing customers as authorized.
?Sell cable services to new customers and upgrade existing customers.
?Present information regarding products, services, rates, installation fees, campaign requirements and special offers in a clear, concise, accurate and professional manner. Promote a positive company image at all times.
?Meet productivity, quality customer relations and all other performance standards.
?Turn in all sales including required documentation and monies collected in a timely manner.
?Keep accurate records, report sales activity and results accurately and notify manager or designee of all problems or difficulties with customers as they occur.
?Follow up on all leads, inquiries, complaints and other messages in a timely manner. Keep all appointments with customers. Coordinate with customers and other departments as needed.
?Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Door-to-door or other "cold calling" sales experience preferred. Cable experience a plus. Proven ability to communicate well with others. Basic math, reading and writing skills necessary. Must be energetic, self-motivated and able to work independently within established guidelines. Good organizational and record keeping ability required. Computer or keyboard skills and ability to use calculator also helpful. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Must provide own transportation and personal vehicle insurance, have valid California driver's license and maintain good driving record. EOE/M/F/D/V

Working Conditions:
Requires driving and walking for long periods of time in various weather conditions, making presentations and interacting with the public in various environments. Will be standing, sitting, climbing, and walking. Requires use of telephone, writing, reading and computing basic mathematical calculations. Will be working in office environment at a computer terminal approximately 10% of the time. Will carry and respond to two-way radio.
