Development Coordinator - Interactive Services

Position Summary

The Development Coordinator will assist in supporting the WNBA.com, D-League, NBA.com and team site editorial groups on enhancements, fixes and production. Assist with overall development priorities by coordinating across creative, content and engineering and other groups.

Major Responsibilities
·Perform hands-on technical recruiting troubleshooting on a daily basis.
·Provide daily production assistance to site editors, including html coding.
·Assist supervisor in writing specs for and managing team site development priorities.
·Help supervisor in developing functional and business specifications for new development, and draft spec documents for handoff to engineering team.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills/Knowledge:
·Hands on understanding of Internet-related technologies and technical standards, including ability to code HTML, css and JavaScript.
·A good understanding of xml, browser compatibles, Flash and any of the following PERL, JSP or ASP.
·Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
·Interest in a wide range of interactive technology from a consumer standpoint-wireless, Internet, digital cable, etc.
·Understanding of QA procedures and technical support processes, preferably including experience supporting less technical staff (teaching helpdesk, etc).

Experience Needed:
·Demonstrated hands-on interactive development experience, including Internet or systems related projects.
·Experience with a team on deadline to complete complex technical projects.

Educational Background Required:
·B.A. or B.S.
