Development Assistant II, Foundation Giving

The Development Assistant II, Foundation Giving, provides confidential and diverse administrative support to the Department of Foundation Giving and Department of Communications. Assists in identifying and cultivating foundation donors; coordinates the Solicitation Review Process; processes checks; handles correspondence, data entry, phones, and scheduling meetings; and facilitates information flow between team members. Provides support to the Director of Foundation Giving, Director of Communications, and members of the Foundation Giving team.



***NOTE*** This position is located in our Glendale, CA offices*********



Qualifications: College degree preferred or equivalent work experience required. Three or more years of administrative support or related experience required.



Skills: Must be professional, personable, and able to communicate with a diverse audience. Position requires a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines. Good writing skills and accuracy with numbers are essential. Computer experience required, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Research, and e-mail. Fundraising, communications, or public relations experience is a plus. Familiarity with AP and/or Chicago Manual of Style formats is preferred.
