Desktop Support Engineer

Looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to work at our client site in Brooklyn, NY for 9 months. Engineer will be responsible for providing desktop support for PC desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, both LAN-attached and remote. The support includes the diagnosis and correction of hardware and software problems, deployment of hardware and software, maintenance and configuration of the issued e-mail accounts, and diligent tracking and management of helpdesk tickets. Software support is handled both at desk side and over the phone utilizing remote control software. Excellent communication and customer skills are a must.

Candidate must have 2+ years IT troubleshooting and support experience and be able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in parallel, some with time critical deadlines. This position works closely with application teams, end users (our customers), and infrastructure teams to complete tasks and resolve problems.
REQUIREMENTS
CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, Hewlett Packard printer certified, and multiple hardware warranty certifications (Dell certification a plus).
