Desktop Support Analyst -SAN ANDREAS (5612)

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in San Andreas, CA.Job Responsibilities:

Resolve hardware and software problems expeditiously and with minimum disruption to computer/phone system users and coordinates hardware repairs with vendors, when appropriate.
Complete desktop related projects as assigned (e.g., office moves, printer installation, Phone and Fax moves and installations, etc).
Install personal computer related hardware and software according to schedule, scope of objectives, and standards.
Install / configure new equipment.
Assist users with using desktop software when appropriate.
In coordination with LAN Administrators, assist with network software installation and problem troubleshooting.
Maintain desktop, terminal, and printer hardware & software documentation.
Support on-call schedule and response to priority incidents as needed.Required Skills / Physical Ability:

2+ years of desktop support experience

2+ years of Windows 2000/XP experience

Knowledge of Industry Standards

Ability to walk long distances quickly, standing for long periods of time.

Ability to lift and move 45 pounds on a consistent basis.Desired Skills:

Task Oriented and require attention to detail.

Ability to exercise good judgment in determining work and problem resolution priorities and approaches.

Must be a Team Player with outstanding communication skills.

1+ years of telecommunication experience (NEC preferred)

Background in healthcare, preferably in a hospital environment or 24/7 environment.
