DeskTop Support Analyst - Woodland, CA (4607)

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Woodland, CA.Job Responsibilities:
Resolve hardware and software problems expeditiously and with minimum disruption to computer system users and coordinates hardware repairs with vendors, when appropriate.
Complete desktop related projects as assigned (e.g., office moves, printer installation, etc).
Install personal computer related hardware and software according to schedule, scope of objectives, and standards.
Install/configure new equipment.
Assist users with using desktop software when appropriate.
In coordination with LAN Administrators, assist with network software installation and problem troubleshooting.
Maintain desktop, terminal, and printer hardware & software documentation.
Support on-call schedule and response to priority incidents as needed.
Update problem/project-tracking records in a timely manner.Required Skills:
Ability to walk long distances quickly, standing for long periods of time.

Ability to lift and move 45 pounds.

2+ years of desktop support experience.

Knowledge of Industry StandardsDesired Skills:
Mid-level technician with experience delivering service to VIPs.

Task Oriented and require attention to detail.

Ability to exercise good judgment in determining work and problem resolution priorities and approaches.

Must be a Team Player with outstanding communication skills.
