Job Summary:Provide insight for direct marketing campaign objectives in acquisition, retention, cross-selling, and profitability by identifying, designing, and implementing projects for strategic development of consumer database, consumer modeling, and segmentation and propensity analyses.Responsibilities:
•Spearhead strategic development of consumer database including design of data structures, end-user needs identification, specification of content, testing, production rollout, and maintenance•Develop and conduct consumer modeling, segmentation, and propensity analyses•Summarize analytical data into user-friendly presentations and reports translating highly technical, detailed data into appropriate recommendations for marketing and sales actions; ensure processes are understood and that deliverables are clear•Proactively identify opportunities to generate revenue and cut costs by identifying potential new markets, monitoring customer shifts, purchasing patterns, etc.•Outline and define appropriate analytic approach for various marketing needs including pre and post-campaign analysis, measuring and analyzing response to marketing offers and making appropriate recommendations on enhancements to campaign strategy•Prepare periodic project status reports to track key project issues, accomplishments to-date, and up-to-date timing for future project deliverables•Continually evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of processes related to the design, development, and implementation of campaigns, and initiate improvement activities where needed•Ensure data quality and integrity
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•BA/BS in Marketing or Business Administration education; or equivalent experience is required•MBA preferred•Database marketing and customer analytics experience with strong background in database marketing processes and systems•Demonstrated ability to generate data and insight on customer trends•Project management background preparing deliverables on deadline, managing resources effectively, and juggling multiple activities at once to accomplish goals•Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior management•Experience building reporting deliverables including design and implementation, problem-solving, and organized integration; able to approach reporting responsibilities with clear understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.
