Customer / Technical Service Manager

This globally driven family of premier bag packaging technology, equipment and material handling companies is currently seeking a highly motivated, hands-on individual to join its Sales team at its Statesville, NC facility.

Responsibilities include:
Receive inquiries from customers and sales representatives regarding technical issues
Evaluate customer applications and needs to assure customers are selecting the appropriate equipment.
Prepare quotes matching customer applications with product specifications
When necessary, visit customer locations with sales representatives to provide technical assistance.
Set up and conduct customer and technical service training programs. Includes the creation of PowerPoint presentations for training and follow-up purposes
Keep company up to date on competition and provide recommendations on enhancing equipment
Assist in updating all product literature and technical information.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Four Year College Degree in Engineering or related field required
Excellent M.S. Office and Power Point skills
Electro-Mechanical skills (AB Logic controls a plus)
Experience working with customers and selling consumables and spare parts to end users through telemarketing programs
Experience managing people in house as well as remotely
Excellent oral and written skills, (Spanish a plus)
