Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: The primary role of the Technical Analyst is to provide tier-2 technical support for an install base of approximately 1300 end-users and responds to escalation incidences and requests for service on a standard catalog of supported hardware and software. More specifically, the Technical Analyst would evaluates and resolve problems with the assistance of other Symetra and ACS resources as required related to network connectivity, desktops, laptops, printers, Blackberries, audio/visual equipment, operating systems and software applications. A successful Technical Analyst would have the ability to perform work that is moderately complex and varied in nature and could contribute to project work as directed while ensuring that all issues raised are resolved promptly and in accordance with applicable SLA / SLR's. Other duties would include performing routine tasks such as equipment setup, hardware/software upgrades and asset/license tracking.
REQUIREMENTS
The Technical Analyst reports to the Manager of Support Services / Technology Services. Ideally, a Technical Analyst would have an Associate's Degree or technical institute degree / certificate and would have 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in supporting PC desktops including troubleshooting and problem solving. The Technical Analyst would demonstrate a strong technical acumen, good communication skills, highly responsive to clients, attention to detail, and operational follow-through which are all required qualities for this position.
