Customer Support Engineer - Boeing 757

* Provide AOG and routine engineering support to freighter conversion customers.

Present and give instruction to customers' operations and maintenance personnel.

Provide AOG assistance at aircraft location as and when required.

Provide entry into service and maintenance check support at customer's main base of operation.

Continually review supplemental manuals and provide comments to improve detail and instructions.

Take ownership of significant failures. Escalate as necessary and follow through to resolution.

Answer and research operator questions so that discrepancies are resolved expeditiously and favorable customer relations are maintained.

Participate in and chair scheduled conference calls with various engineering groups and airline customers.

Perform daily data entry tasks and administrative duties including inputting technical issues into computerized database for tracking and resolution. Generate various reports from this database for trend and management analysis.

Communicate effectively with company personnel and external customers, always working towards quick resolution of the customer's inquiry, and keeping VP Corporate Development informed of issues that may impact customer service.

Must always look for ways to improve customer service internally and externally.


Requirements:

* Ability to rapidly respond, troubleshoot, and escalate operator questions via phone, FAX, and e-mail.

Ability to understand and interoperate FAA, CAA, and ATA regulations.

Must be articulate, possessing outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Must be able to comprehend advanced schematics, blueprints, diagrams, component maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts catalogs.

Must be able to coordinate multiple, high-priority tasks on parallel tracks at the same time.

Must have heightened awareness of cultural differences in communication with international client.

Willing to receive emergency calls at all hours, work weekends, and beyond normal business hours as required.

Significant travel expected and on short notice as and when required.
Qualifications:

A&P License.

Associate of Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology is preferable.

10 to 15 years Boeing 757 systems experience ESSENTIAL with some structures experience preferable.
