Customer Service Reps - Business Receivables

The next training classes are scheduled for September 25th & October 16th. We have already begun recruiting for those classes, so please begin the prescreening process as soon as possible!
Starting pay range: $442 - $511 (weekly - 40 hours). The pay is based on education level & experience.
Receive inbound calls from customers or make outbound calls to customers regarding bill payment.
Resolve basic billing questions and disputes in a timely manner and negotiate an immediate payment or promise to pay on Cingular Wireless accounts.
Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts, and document the reasons for the call.
Interact with multiple systems including web-based tools to appropriately service Cingular Wireless collection accounts.
Update relevant account information and document all customer contacts in computer system.
Identify customer issues requiring escalation or correspondence, forwarding to internal resource for resolution.
Provide courteous, professional service while meeting departmental and individual productivity and quality standards.
Interface with other internal and external departments such as sales, service, and business office departments, dealers, and collection agencies as necessary.

Participate in team huddles and on-going training as scheduled.
Share your experiences and skills with team members.
Participate in focus groups as scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Qualifications
HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
At least 17 years of age.
6 months experience operating a computer in Windows based environment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule which includes all hours of call center operation.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of prior call center/customer service/collections experience preferred.
Demonstrated interpersonal, time management, communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated decision–making ability
Ability to handle a multitude of customer issues in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment.
Ability to demonstrate reliability, act with integrity and maintain confidentiality
Ability to operate a personal computer, with demonstrated ability to work in a Windows environment, and various types of office equipment
Physical ability to sit, talk, listen and keyboard continuously for extended periods of time.
Ability to work extended/variable hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc. as necessary.
