In this role you would provide customer support to elderly, blind or disabled members.


You would also receive cross-training for another program for pregnant women and children.

Primary responsibilities include:


Helping members select a doctor or providing information about their providers.
Providing screening to determine health needs.
Assisting members with questions about benefits and how to obtain care.
Making referrals to other agencies as needed.
Documenting calls.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications:


Prior experience providing customer service is required.


Experience in the field of healthcare or health insurance is highly preferred, as is experience working with the involved populations.


Knowledge of Medicaid would be helpful.


The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, an upbeat personality and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.


College graduates with a related degree and some volunteer experience will be considered.
