Customer Service Representative-Home Medical Equipment

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for performing all tasks relative to in-house communications with the patient/client and verification of third party reimbursement.Specific Task List:* Answer incoming telephone calls and take customer orders.* Qualify equipment requests by diagnoses and verify equipment.* Process delivery tickets from direct referral contact, managed care coordinators, telephone orders, facsimile and or mail orders and recurring sales reports.* Respond to inquiries about product availability and coordinate procurement of special order products.* Obtain patient demographics from source and set up patient files.* Service walk in customers.* Pull store stock for next day delivery* Perform other customer service duties as requested.* All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Home Medical Equipment diagnostics knowledgeMust be able to read, write, speak and understand the English languagePrevious data entry experience, typing and 10-key skillsExcellent telephone and customer relations skills.Previous Home Medical Experience is a plus
