Customer Service Rep - Risk Management

This position will have responsibility for the rating, booking and issuance of policies (new and renewal) as well as endorsements for commercial insurance policies in Chubb's Long Island branch. The selected candidate:

• Proactively assists with account management and achievement of service goals within assigned territory;
• Collaborates with underwriting associate to successfully retain business;
• Handles all the maintenance, client system, and mail for assigned territory;
• Achieves service goals for issuance, quality, premium collection, and open items.
• Communications daily with the underwriting associate and co-workers. This individual must closely monitor and communicate the status of items in process to the underwriting associate and OSD leadership;
• Monitors monthly service production reports; Keep WIP current and assists underwriting associate to enhance their productivity.
• Advises Underwriting Associate of any compliance issues for appropriate resolution.
• Rates requested policy versions and/or changes.
• Prepares quote letter template and adds all coverages, limits, exposures and premium information.
• Books and issues the policy and completes tracking information
• Coordinates the account or policy pricing with the Underwriting Associate or Underwriter.

Competencies/Tech Skills
Knowledge of commercial insurance is preferred.
