JOB SUMMARY:


The Customer Service Representative functions as a primary resource in handling Medicare customer contacts via telephone, ranging from routine to complex. Provides clear and concise education concerning the Medicare program benefits. Assists beneficiaries with benefit information, claims, provider locations and other Medicare issues. Forwards escalated or crisis calls to appropriate staff members.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers phones and researches inquiries. Researches and documents/updates databases. Provides information and retrieves faxes, and performs other duties as assigned.

High School diploma.




Certification/License:



Experience:
Six months Call Center experience.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Ability to read, comprehend and explain benefits in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Strong PC skills including MS Word and Excel, and Lotus Notes.
