Customer Service Manager - Los Angeles

Currently our Los Angeles Ramp Service is searching these individuals to join the team as a Customer Service Manager (CSM).

The CSM supervises, coordinates and controls employees engaged in ramp services ground operations through crew chiefs. Provides general shift supervision and resolves operating problems during tour of duty. Interprets company policy and procedures. Plans utilization of manpower and monitors quality of work performance. Maintains discipline and ensures compliance to AA rules and regulations. Ensures adherence to company safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate must be able to lead and motivate employees in working as a team, be decisive and be able to work under demanding operational conditions in a stressful environment.

Must have good oral and written communication skills, leadership, initiative and judgment. Must demonstrate strong administrative and analytical abilities.

May require rotation of shifts, days off and holidays. Prior leadership role in airport services preferred. Customer service experience and working with unionized workforce helpful. Knowledge of government regulations (FAA, DOT, TSA), airline safety policies and procedures, applicable computer and other functional automation knowledge.

TSA Regulations require a fingerprint based criminal history records check for all employees with unescorted ramp access. The background check must be completed prior to any individual assuming this position. This job is subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing. Additionally, previous employers will be contacted to verify any DOT drug violations and/or refusals to test from the past two years.
