Inbound Customer Solutions Representative (Entry-level Inside Sales)
United Rotary Brush Corporation - Lenexa, Kansas

Summary:

Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external URB customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as team members within the Customer Relations Department. This is considered a passive sales and customer service position.

General Responsibilities

--Provide customer service to URB customers
--Receive and process customer orders (mostly phone orders)
--Track and manage lead times and order accuracy
--Listen to and resolve customer issues
--Place outbound phone sales calls as needed
--Provide support and interaction with other departments and locations within the company
--Communicate regularly with Territory Managers regarding any customer service issues
--Actively engage in efforts to contribute to the future of the company through ongoing process documentation and improvement - CSQ (Common Sense Quality)

Education &/or Experience:

--B.A. or B.S. from accredited college or university (strongly preferred)
--2 to 4 years related experience and /or training in customer service/inside sales position
--Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Skill Level:

Communication skills
--Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
--Highly interactive and positive communication style
--Ability and desire to provide outstanding customer service
--Must be able to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals
--In the English Language, the incumbent must be able to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Computer proficiency
--Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
--Accuracy in Data Entry

Organization and Time Management Skills
--Strong focus and attention to detail
--Excellent follow through
--Ability to work independently and as a team player
--Must routinely demonstrate strong initiative and sense of urgency

Problem Solving Capabilities
--Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Basic Math Skills
--Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
